I know a lot of people who are as it's typically based off last year and not current conditions. Next year's might not be so good if $30 oil sticks around, but who knows.

Well that is simply not true - I know several people who have already got their bonus letters to be paid out April 1.

Yup, I have no idea where he got the idea that no companies are paying out 2019 bonuses. Probably a fair number of private companies paying them out too.
