Default Your Covid 19/WW3 emergency food shopping list?

I did a run a few weeks ago to Super Store, I have about 10 days worth of canned and dry foods for a family of 4..

The vegetables are easy, just about every vegetable is available canned
The hard part is meat, beside spam and canned ham, there is I guess Tuna and salmon, but I hate fish.
I could not find canned bacon anywhere, this was once so common and my camping favourite.
    We did:
    pastas
    stews and soups
    canned corn, mushrooms and tomatoes
    canned ham
a few cans of spam of course
some dry drink mixes and coffees
    canned milk.

The meat again is the tough one....

I have well water with reverse osmosis, so as long as I have power, I have water.

    Beer, I forgot beer..

I dunno about food, but i've got an unlimited heat source. Ive been burning my underwear for the last two years. With the proper smegma, semen, and fecal matter ratio, she'll burn for months.

I need to lose about 10lbs. So rationing what we have should be ok.

What good does that do if you lose power in an apocalypse?

Go to Popeye’s and buy a 10lb bag of protein.

50g, or two scoops is enough to sustain the protein needs for survival.

Just need a bit of water. Or none at all really... last for months.

    apocalypse hearty breakfast:

    1-2 scoops protein
    1cup dry oats
    1-2 tbsp peanut butter.

    Ration of 125-250ml water.

Make a paste or slurry. Consume, or dry for a night and eat protein bars.

    Calories: 400-600

You can live on this. Fiber, protein, carbs and fat.

i bought a few soup cans, instant rice, canned fruit and veggies, water bottles, pasta and toilet paper.

I think we will be ok for 2 weeks if we ration on our supplies and spend most of the day sleeping lol.

This is when buying in bulk pays off cause our pantry, storage room, and deep freezer is always full so we probably have a good 30 days worth of food and few months worth of TP lol. For water I picked up some waterbobs back when we had those floods and some cities had to turn off their water because of contamination. This turns your bathtub in to water storage for 90days or more so if this is a threat, I'll be filling it up.

I haven't really bought anything out of the ordinary or anything we wouldn't use anyways. Figured I'd aim for 1-2 weeks supply in case I have to sit home and self-quarantine but I'm pretty sure that's just normally what I have in my pantry anyways between soups, pasta, cereal, canned fruits and veggies, etc.

I did buy a few extra 5 gallon jugs of water since we use them camping anyways. And a extra flat of soup and a bag of rice. Though that's pretty such just normal shopping sometimes.

Also replenished all our consumables, soap, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towel, batteries, etc. I doubt there will be a shortage but with all the factories in China shutting down we're gonna see issues with product inventory in the next month or two as warehouses run low on things. Figure it's a good time to just replenish things and not worry for months.

Was reading a news article yesterday about Costco's in Toronto having their shelves emptied by preppers...went to Costco here yesterday and looked just as stocked as ever. Calgarians are yoloing or maybe more so on my side of not caring/worrying.

Anyone buying MRE's or food that can be stored long term?

I was considering a few buckets of Legacy's meals:

Last Friday I went to Beacon Hill Costco to grab a couple things maybe 15-20 minutes before closing and place was swamped from the optical, to the pharmacy to the tills. it was like a Sunday afternoon.

I also read in my community's facebook group of people encountering empty shelves at costco/walmart and/or hoarding themselves too.
