I might have posted this somewhere else, but I didnt want all the towers and wiring all over, so when I built my house, I had this done.

    What lights did you use?
I used the Luminoodle commonly found on Amazon, as they are apparently close to the proper temperature that is needed.

You get used to.it, but honestly, I had a big old plasma up there before that took up alot more space than these new TVs.

Believe it or not, this is the same size 58" as my old plasma and the plasma was right at the top of the speaker.

So, I can get a bigger tv or move this one down about 8 inches.

Yeah its crazy how the newer TVs just keep getting smaller in overall size as the bezels shrink down while the screen size goes up. Not complaining at all.

Just went through this for my parents. My mother absolutely hates having speakers everywhere, while my dad loves having true 5.1 for movies etc. Ended up with the JBL 5.1 Sound bar. Pretty neat system, when just using it normally two speakers attach to the sound bar/center channel, but when watching movies, you can take the other speakers and place them in the rear positions to get actual 5.1. Batteries in them seem to last a very long time, and are charged by plugging them into the center unit.

Just my $0.02, but worked for them.

Best Buy at Sunridge for $40. Sanus; same maker as my TV wall mount, which I found interestingly enough, to support sizes 50-90in.

The latter part might be BS but every day that 75" is so tempting...
