I think the internet is obsessed with witch hunts and cancel culture. The narrative changed 3x since I went to sleep and woke up.

1. Video of him grabbing girls boobs and she giving him finger, with shit blurred out. Internet: Sexual Assault.
2. Girl posts a statement saying they're friends, and playing around. Internet: She's been paid off.
3. Uncensored video shows up, she's smiling, and licking her fingers as he’s grabbing her boobs. Internet: She's an escort, he's objectifying women by paying for them

The Hamilton situation is pretty interesting for the finale. Hamilton is still in Bahrain right now. He's tested negative today, and flying into Abu Dhabi Friday. He'll go through another test, and if he's negative, isolate in Abu Dhabi for 24h while undergoing fitness testing. That means that Friday free practice will be run with Russell. If Hamilton passes the fitness test, and passes the Saturday morning Covid test, he'll be running FP3 and quali, with Russell going back to Williams. Talk about disruptive. Almost think Hamilton should just let Russell drive at this point and watch from the pits.

The big story for the finale is of course my beloved team McLaren, who's trying to beat Racing point to 3rd place in the WCC. The difference in prize money between 3rd and 4th is roughly $10m, so this is a massive race for the McLaren team. They'll need to outscore Racing Point by 11 points, can't be a tie, as Racing Point would beat the tie breaker with a win last race.

Excited for the next season with Ricardo at McLaren and Sainz at Ferrari. Hopefully Checo gets something - kinda said for Magnussen but it's a dog-eat-dog world at that level of competition so while it maybe harsh, it's life. Vettel is done - I think he should have retired a little while ago when he was still someone as opposed to going down to the current point and then retiring but he's got same bday as me so I can't hate on him. lol.
