Are you all going to tell me how to trade tomorrow, or should I head over to r/wsb? I need to raise funds for the south west watchtower for the new compound.

I'd short toilet paper stocks at this point. Definitely inflated and when Safeway and Save-On unload their Q2 stockpiles and flood the market it's only going to go down.

If there was an etf tracking Aspen real estate, that’s what I would buy.

So are the thoughts that these oil companies are going to stay low for a prolonged amount of time, or do you think they will rebound back to where they were 2 weeks ago? and if they stay down for a prolonged amount of time does that increase the likelihood of takeovers?

I can't see them rebounding unless OPEC/Russia work out a deal to extend their production limits. Right now both are going to add millions of bpd to the market.

Russia can live on $25/bbl oil for years.

Between that and them being a carbon neutral country, it is obvious that autocracies are the wave of the future.

I wonder how Kenney is feeling right now with their oil forecast for 2020-2021 evaporating.

He already said over the weekend that balance budget by promised date is out of reach.

We can already tell by the budget that it's another hope oil price will be good budget and if Russia is playing the long game, it'll be another lost decade for AB.

Did you see what Ovintiv’s (Encana) stock price did today? Down almost 75% closing at $2.95, even more crazy, they were at $30 in January and $50 a year ago.

That the sector "employs hundreds of thousands of people" is not a huge reason to me to keep it all going.

Technically, the complexity of the combustion engine and the oft bi-yearly repairs and maintenance that are needed is not really a good reason to keep it going. Now more than ever that a quality battery for the electric car is a reality. Was it right to employ hundreds of thousands of people to stage a Hollywood moon landing fifty years ago? I mean it keeps people employed and with a few dollars in their pocket - but ultimately nothing gets done, and the only thing built upon it is the demoralizing failure of future generations as they fail to even meet the challenges of the past.

This little blip in Coronavirus history has the potential to kill of carbon, China actually has clean air for the first time in decades.

There is also always a chance that when investors sell off their oil stocks, they might not come back ever.

    Rough days ahead.

Whenever I see $19.97, I picture those Wal Mart commercials.

This is why I say reallocation to Large, strong balance sheet oil companies. If you choose.
Not a mid cap or small cap.

No balls on a 3x lev oil bull ETF. Was a joke.
