Default Have you bought toilet paper in bulk..?

It is rather ASStounding that there is not a thread on this.

Soooo... who has done the dark deed and bought loo roll in bulk in the last week or so..? Or.. are some of you waiting till shit gets real..?

I have not. I bought a pack from Costco last year and I still got half a bag left. That being said, my parents took me to India for a month in 1986. No toliet paper in those days. From that experience..I can assure you I am well trained in the dark arts of washing my butt with water. Blackbelt Akido style.

So who has bought paper en mass..? Repent, repent.. confess your sins here!

I bought one pack as part of our normal monthly grocery haul.

Some pretty wild videos out there of Costco’s being ransacked as if it’s Black Friday!

I ordered 2 packs of 24 rolls from Amazon. 1 pack for us as we are running low (8 rolls left) and 1 pack for my parents as they are also running low and couldn't buy any at any stores either.

Still have 24 rolls I bought from Costco last year. So I'm good for a few months till this panic buying dies down before I need to restock.

But whats the deal with panic buying toilet paper?

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

I don't see the point. If the entire city runs out of TP, I've got plenty of cleaning clothes. I'll have to do laundry quite often, but my ass will still be clean.

My normal TP purchase is 24 rolls at a time, because of the many bathroom in my glorious duplex. I'd buy 48 if it was a deal, but haven't had to make a TP purchase at all in the last few weeks. Guess one will be coming soon enough.

Nope, lucky for us we just stopped a airbnb rental that slept 10 at the end of Jan that we had a stockpile of all the essentials for. I was picking up cheap stuff all the time so we probably have a year supply of TP and a ton of paper towel. Not sure how I ended up with like 10 jugs of laundry detergent..........

What is "bulk"? I bought a couple extra packs. Realistically, its going to be used anyways and doesn't have an expiry date. Might as well change a fitty dollar bill and not have to even have it on your mind that you might run out.

Picked up a 24 pack of the Purex. The Sobey's I usually go to was all out but co-op had a fair bit on Sunday. That'll last well over two months.
