Best one I've tried is the Jabra 9460. Mic quality is HD.

Yup, here's the pricing we get from Jabra through our work code if we want to buy personal items. I would assume corporate volume discounts are even better than this:

    That's absolutely wild. I wouldn't pay more than $30 for any on-ear headphones/headset.

You are missing out on the supple cups caressing your ears like a lactating mother's teat.

Not really. I just use air pods or over-ears like a grown up. On ear are the worst of both worlds.

I use all three kinds, to maximize happiness, like a gender fluid teenager.

Not giving the model # is like bragging about buying an Android phone and talking about how awesome the camera lens is.
    Sorry. It's that I couldn't recall.
Jabra Speak 510 I think? It was $200 and took 11 days to get from Staples.
I should order a decent headset like others are talking about, as well. Although, maybe my Turtle Beach gaming thing will work.

Has anyone moved or still planning to move during these times due to work (new job, internal transfers, etc.)? Or have you, or your company delayed it until further notice?
This could be moving within the city, to another city or province, etc.

Looking for people's experiences if they are in this situation.

Coworker just moved this weekend into a new place. Didn't have any issues. Another coworker is moving into his new house at the end of the month.

The company that I am contracted to at the moment moved offices 2 weeks into this shit, but I am at home as my actual employer has locked down any office work, all WFH. Now I need to plan a home move for early June and am not looking forward to that.

Had a co-worker move, biggest issue was re-verifying income for mortgage

My brother is moving next week too. No issues with movers or anything.... yet

Just be glad you aren't trying to move in the US right now (as a Canadian). I have a friend that sold a place in Phoenix and wasn't able to go down to pack the house up because of travel restrictions. lol Had to hire movers to put everything into storage. It is a first world problem for sure, but still a pita.

Just started using a wireless headset this week and holy shit i can't believe i went this long without it. Just makes it so much more convenient working from home... can grab coffee/food middle of calls, walk around to stretch, etc.

highly recommend the investment, even better if work will cover it.

I have this one as this is the model my company uses and would recommend:

It’s a great headset. I have 300 on order for our company still awaiting delivery since mid-March.

hahahaha! I scrolled down and saw your picture... immediately thought of ASMR. Then I read what you wrote. So, so true.

The more I use it the more I love it. Sound quality is absolutely perfect and it’s very well made. Your company will be very happy.

Are lead times on these things pretty bad these days like webcams?

I have had the small voyager Bluetooth headset for over a year now and it has been solid.

Yeah. We use CDW and none of the webcams are in stock. All the remote work items sold out really fast. We were lucky to get an order in but too late to get any inventory in their Canadian warehouses. Luckily for us everybody has a laptop and can use that cam. The headsets would be useful to allow people to make Skype to Skype calls or join meetings.

I bought a webcam on ebay and it arrived in a week.
