No school, no daycare, daddy working from home. Anyone else's kids not behaving well today? :-)

Quarantine the kids in the basement if they are not behaving well.

Downtown was quiet this morning at 6am except the typical crackheads with their heads down looking for crack rocks among the sidewalk salt.
Ctrains are empty and on time. Office is a ghost town.

The only reasons to go to the office now are for free coffee and to ration my tp.

I wonder how much of the +15 shops will shutdown once they see all the empty offices.

Same for us (Suncor), we got word yesterday.

So far my RDP is working great but lots of coworkers are saying they cant connect to anything. Gonna be interesting to see how this goes.

Good point. Free TP at the malls. Not saying that I am going to steal them, but I can hold it long enough for the short drive over to make a dump a couple of times a day.

I'm in the office and my Teams messages are stuck on sending, not sure if this has anything with more people working from home?

Also for a 9AM meeting, those that didn't call in until 9 got busy signals and had to try a bunch of different numbers to call in. This was Skype.

So since a lot of us have moved to wfh environments.. how many had contract parking downtown and how are you handling that? I send a general inquiry to CPA about it as honestly I'd like to see those fees waived.

I heard from a civilian contractor in the military that a decision was made and thats what the big announcement is about. He thinks its full Italy style lockdown.

I sent a note on Twitter to Impark...

    I'm not expecting a response.

May well be best just to cancel and re-purchase after the world ends...LOL

I got the same email from Corporate HR.. But yet my manager this morning is telling all of the shop employees that "if you do not feel safe, go home and otherwise, business as usual".

I stayed home (work in the office) but many shop employees are worried about saying that they do not feel safe at work.

Just got confirmation from the exec team this morning that we're all working remotely starting tomorrow.

I don't have a home office so it's time to do some redecorating tonight.
