Our work recommended to WFH and doing phased testing.
Good thing I rejigged my house to have a home office over the weekend.

Trudeau just said to get your ass off the streets. I don't recall if he was talking to the Quebecois or all of us.

This whole virus thing puts service providers in a tough spot...as much as I would feel safer at home, it puts the company in a tough position. If we arent open and providing contracted services, the more likely we have companies under contract not wanting to pay the full amount, therefore making it tough for us to pay rent and salaries.

I cant use my remote login through my normal work computer to access Suncor either, however it's a 50/50 chance it's user error cause I've only logged in with my securID token like twice before and I might be trying to use the wrong password
Got my home office setup this afternoon. 1 wire. A little bit of peace and tranquility in these tough times.

If you get in, you have to change your workstation power settings so your computer doesn't go to sleep. dm me if you want and I can link the csc article on what to change. Also you gotta use your pin + token for the passcode, not just your token. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Confirmed Case
Late this afternoon, March 14, 2020, Brookfield Properties was notified that an individual who has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) had recently visited Suncor Energy Centre. In compliance with our Influenza Pandemic Response Plan, we are advising all tenants accordingly.
The individual last visited the location(s) below, during the week of March 9th:
• 27th Floor, West Tower
• 14th Floor, East Tower
Brookfield Properties has followed all guidelines issued by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) for the well-being of our tenant community. Actions to date include:
✓ As advised by Public Health Officials or Tenancy, closed and evacuated the impacted floor location(s), then performed cleaning in compliance with PHAC’s pandemic cleaning protocols
✓ Continue to disinfect frequently touched surfaces throughout the common areas of the property at an increased frequency
✓ Where possible, installed hand sanitizer dispensers throughout office towers, in all public washrooms, and at security / concierge desks
We continue to request that you advise Building Management if:
• Any of your employees are diagnosed with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or
• You elect to evacuate your premises in response to a presumptive COVID-19 case.
We also recommend you review your current pandemic and continuity plans if you have not already done so to ensure you have developed appropriate quarantine options for your employees should they be required.
Currently, PHAC has assessed the risk to public health as low and are continuing to monitor. The most up to date information on COVID-19 can continue to be obtained from The Public Health Agency of Canada website at http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/index-eng.php.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at 403-213-5352.
Sincerely,
Theadoran (Teddi) Poworoznik
Property Manager – Suncor Energy Centre
My friend was with that guy. It's like winning the lottery!
Does that guy work there or was he just a visitor?

The kid in the daycare was #1 and they had just returned from Florida. I guess the parents weren't infected if #2 is a US visitor? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I waited on hold for 40 minutes to talk to impark. They told me that I could cancel per the cancellation agreement which is 30 days notice if I wanted to not pay while I am not downtown. Impark is a POS company though so to be expected. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Super easy commute this morning.. Not that I want to be commuting.
Not sure why you guys think you can just get out of a contract.... The only thing stopping you from parking there is you. Same 30 day cancellation period as everyone else. Be a different story if the building was closed... (Which is why they arent closing.. as they would lose out on rent and parking renvenues)
