Back when I was running rigs, I used to work a sort of similar schedule. 6-8 was productive, 8-3 was bullshit and meetings and a long lunch, then family stuff, then some more work 7-9. Difference is now I can have a nap after lunch more easily.

Speaking of useless... fun social experiment right now. Outside vendor hosting meeting outside of the comfort of Skype (it’s in google meet) 56 people... 6 couldn’t figure it out and called in, 5 of those can’t figure out how to mute their phones, and 4 more people that did figure out how to click the damn link in the email are not muted...
My workplace decided having 6 microwaves beside eachother was unsafe. So they moved 4 of them to a different room, and plugged them all into the same circuit.
Yep. Nothing like saving lives, by burning down your building!

In my current setup Im not sure I could handle working full days at home.. kids, dog, wife. And no real dedicated office. Its mostly toy room with a desk in the corner, so Ive just been in the kitchen.
That being said, Ive been pretty bored. Not a whole lot to do when you are in the office rental business and you arent in the office and no one is looking to rent. The last week has been busy, but mostly with people terminating Agreements and asking for discounts. Always fun when the only time people contact you is to bitch and complain...but I do get to had to the dog park once a day... so I guess theres that.
I have so many games to catch up on I couldn't wait to work from home, but now work is busier than it has been for me in over a year, grrrrr.
Anyone else finding they're less efficient with WFH but the same expectations and workload as office life make you work substantially longer and way less breaks than normally? I'm putting up 10.5hrs with maybe 30 min break with lunch on most days and mgrs calling and messaging constantly asking when stuff will be done.
Then I hear others relaxing, walks at lunch, exercising before work, etc. On here.
If I did this, management would be questioning why I'm idle for so long and not replying to messages.

It’s been an absolute grind to be honest.
Ok. Just wondering. I guess misery loves company. But I'm more exhausted after work, which another coworker mentioned too.

Where I find where productivity suffering is the fact the despite having a routine lunch and 2 or 3 breaks a day.. waking up and doing the same over and over is draining my own mental state.
With the weather lately it doesn't help and I rely a lot on my dog to at least provide something different in the day.
It's weird but getting up and knowing I would be driving to work and back home was enough to help break up my day to day.
