Nothing from our company yet. They say more info will be released in the fall so hoping that means they will fill out T2200 for us as well. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Got a notice from our office, the mandatory mask bylaw won't have any impact since we already have to wear masks at all times besides our desk. Still planning everyone back to the office in September although 1-2 days a week max each. Seems odd to jump between office and WFH back and forth ... but at least our gym is open too so excited to use that one and stay away from the plebs at goodlife.
Coming into the office 1-2 days a week is a colossal waste of time.
You still have to do everything via teams since no one is reliably in the office. It’s literally the worst of both worlds.

Yup, so stupid. On top we were allowed to take workstation peripherals home (surface docs/monitors/mouse/keyboard/etc) but those now need to be returned to the office, so people have to go buy their own setup. Not as big of concern since I already have a nice computer setup but lots of people are scrambling to go drop a few hundred on a home office now. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. But hey, at least we have a corporate discount at Memory Express and Apple now
Corp discount at MemEx would be dangerous for me.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
When most stuff only have 3-5% margin, what's corp discount really buys at MemX? Cheaper warranty plans? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Apparently some dipshit came to work with covid last week (not my company, just someone in the building) so we get to WFH until after the long weekend as a precaution.

Must be nice.
Coworker tested positive for Covid. Rest of floor notified 5 days later.
Told not an issue, keep coming to office as no one was in close contact.
Coworker back in office 10 days later.
Outbreak imminent.
Well this was 5 days later. Sounds like it was a contractor or courier or something based on how they worded it.

I’m going to go WFH dockside... the way god intended it
If they are tested positive ain't they supposed to isolate for 14-21 days? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I believe its 10 days from your positive test results. The assumption is the virus lasts 2 weeks but it takes ~5 days to build enough to test positive. So that'd still be at least 15 days from when they caught it. I'd def wait it out a few more days thoThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Coworker being back in the office is probably fine...everyone else? Not so much.
Well is that really your call? AHS's call or employer's call? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
We officially delayed stage 2 back to office by 2 weeks because Calgary is lit and we may have had one incident in office. Don't know if he is tested positive, but if he is, he would be asymptomatic.

I do not see an issue with saying, "I will work from home for a few extra days because I was covid positive".

It’s 10 days or until symptoms are over/subside, whichever is longer
