Extraslow needs to work on his mullet game. It appears below Phil Collins minimum standards. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The amount of money companies will save from Stampede week might just change how they treat it every year. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Our leadership team has been aggregating info on whether staff would find it helpful to continue working from home to help inform next steps.
I've never worked from home before and it's been great. I get way more head down time to do my work without interruptions and ad-hoc requests that can be handled by elsewhere.
As long as I have stable internet connection and VPN, I can carry on with data analytics without stepping foot in the office.
So Phil Collins + Extraslow = Ringo StarrThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Stampede parties, golf tournaments, all that crap are a drop in the budget in the scheme of G&A.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It never costs as much as people think it does.
Now companies like Penn West (obsidian, whatever) who spend $10 million a year on office leases despite have 1/10 of the staff from 5 years ago. Yea that’s the kind of shit that people will be thinking real hard about going forward after they see how business continues to function just fine without those buildings.

Well it's a building of 70s/80s vintage. It's full of asbestos anyway. But the reno on other floors gave CNOOC to enact escape clause to get something better and cheaper. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Asbestos isn't an issue unless you're making the particles airborne.
