Ikea would be the best. I think mine was 600$ (the non motorized is significantly cheaper. I think 250$). It comes with 10 year warranty, even for commercial use

Look at using the Ikea karlby (kitchen countertop) with a base of your choice.

Costco has one for $399. It is a smaller desk. Also you could check RGO they will have some gently used ones for reasonable price.

Ikea non-motorized. Use the extra money to buy beer to trade to me for TP.

We just got this one and had California Closets make the table top for us.

    Works well

I have the Ikea non-motorized at home. For what you pay, excellent value. Less things to go wrong, no motor. Cranking it takes a few minutes, but how often are you changing that?

Ikea only holds 160lbs or so. When not in use for work, I would like to use it as a lift to store my hoard inventory from little grabby hands.

    I built my own using:

    https://www.primecables.ca/p-355830-...hite#sku372439

    https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/gerton-...eech-50106773/

Legs/motor setup goes on sale some times and I sanded and stained the table top with a darker stain. Overall easy to do and only cost ~$350 all in

Stay away from the Bestar from Costco. It's a POS. Single motor, loud, exposed mechanism doesn't got down as far as it should.
Bekant from Ikea is way better.

Good to know. I am looking for one now and that was one of the shortlisted ones.
Other one is the Migration from Steelcase,

Only if I can get through to RGO

Thanks. I'm leaning towards the dual motor with memory from Prime Cables (table top from Ikea).

What is the price on those? Steelcase makes amazing products.

The one plus about the Ikea tabletops is that they are rounded. The downside is that they are a bit on the flimsy side, which is expected for the price. Still functional though. The Ikea was also way easier to install.

I thought it's a well known fact to use Ikea kitchen countertops for desks...

Apparently because of Covid, Steelcase has shutdown production. So RGO doesn't have any Migration from Steelcase.
