Anyone cancelling their gym membership now that they're trying to open and everyone has a home setup?

That's why I just say I have a 4" dick and lift weights to make up for it.

Rack all set up and bolted down. I will say the mats from Fitness depot are great and don't cost an arm and a leg. Hex bar from Bells of Steel. Now just have to wait for the rest of the weights to get in.
Where did you get that squat rack and bench from? Does the bench pull out fully so you can do other exercises on it with dumbbells?

Not sure yet. My gym is very close to me, I really like the community feel cause it is a small group that I find motivating, and it has a lot of equipment that I would never be able to have at home. It's also quite reasonable annually.

I may just do drop ins in the future depending on how much I go in after this year is up, but I want to stay involved there.

All that stuff looks like it's northern lights from fitness depot (I could be wrong). The bench is a regular bench and is not attached to the cage.

Has anyone built their own battle ropes?

Any idea where I can get some 1.5" rope by the foot?

HD rope definitely isn't heavy enough but I built my own pulley attachment with their nicer rope. Works great.

Got my Hyper Fitness power rack on Thursday. Just finished setting it up today.

So far I’m really happy with it. It has everything I need and quality seems good. I’m surprised how well everything squared up... was totally expecting to have to spend a lot of time adjusting it.

Looks like a plywood lifting rack with stall mats.

Pretty much 100% needed if it’s going on carpet

Two layers of 5/8” OSB glued together. Bought 3x 4x8’ sheets and ripped one lengthwise to make this 6x8’ platform. On top are two 3/8” 6x4’ pieces of die cut rubber. Was originally planning to cover with the 5/8” recycled rubber stall mats but didn’t want to deal with the offgas smell as this is in my basement right next to my kids’ toy area. The 3/8” sheets are ‘clean’ rubber and virtually no smell.

The back order sucks for sure. I ordered this as part of the June back order and it took about 10 weeks. If you want it though just go for it (I think I saw they have a September back order coming soon). If you change your mind I’m sure you could easily cancel it or flip it on kijiji. The value for money is definitely there so you can’t go wrong really

This is pretty much the exact setup I want. What are the dimensions width and height wise? Also, where did you order from, would like to order. Thanks.

    You should look into:

    https://www.squatrackscanada.com/collections/all

I had a half rack from them(sold it after gyms opened back up) and the quality was very good.

They're local to Edmonton so you probably won't have a long lead time to get what you want.

Anyone order this? Pre-sale started over 30 minutes ago.

I ordered the complete package with light commercial bench. Didn't need bumper plates as I don't expect to throw my weights around in my house lol.

Now get the next couple months to plan out how I want to support this thing on my basement carpet.

There's a unit from Northern Lights at Fitness Depot that offers a nearly identical funciton for $1k less: https://www.fitnessdepot.ca/C11FCA69...nlftpr150.html

I've had it in my basement since 2016 and absolutely love it.
