same price on amazon (443), no bench i checked cause i thought that was the case! I read it's too narrow for big guys though... I'd like to upgrade my half rack cause i'm too tall for it haha, anyone have this one? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
@2Legit2Quit how are those weights working out??
I love them, have been great/no issues for the 3-4 weeks I've had them. Glad I went this route over the Bowflex style, the length of those would have drove me nuts over time. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Really like the handle bar finish, and it's super easy/quick to adjust the weight. No issues with them thus far and happy with the purchase.
good to hear, i think mine are supposed to ship this week hahaThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I really need a flat bench. My adjustable one dips on heavy bench sets, so it's rough to rerack. I saw one pop up on kijiji, but it didn't last long. BoS want's $250 for a flat bench, which is insane to me, and it's not in stock anyways.

I just picked up some very good quality rubber mats after months for searching. These are over 3/4" thick (20 mm), and 1m x 1m (39" x 39") in area, so they are very heavy duty but easy to transport in your car. The best thing is that there is almost no odor (compared to stall mats) and they have a cool blue speckle to them.
The guy, Vim who does this with his wife is a friendly guy who just launched his website last week. I was dealing with him on Kijiji before and he does commercial stuff for hotels too. He's out in Crossfield but met up with me near Crossiron to deliver me the mats so I didn't have to travel out that far.
Anyways, no affiliation whatsoever but thought I would chime in finally got some excellent quality rubber mats at a great price though Iron Nova. I am trying to buy a treadmill though him currently too. He says he can give pretty good prices for anything he sells.

His business card that he gave me is made of metal lol. Badass...
Apparently he can make metal business cards for people that want them too, haha.

Well got the rack setup but just need to tighten up some bolts as their wrenches suck and too late to go to the ship. Its a $400 rack for sure.. you can tell there is a lot of cheap materials and such but for a home gym it will be fine.
Just need to source out a 7ft bar now as the 6ft I have isn't going to cut it.
I've been following a calisthenics page on FB and YouTube (FitnessFAQs) for a bit now and am wanting to get into it. I purchased a set of paralletes from Amazon a year ago but wasn't able to use them as I developed bad tennis elbow right at the beginning of January 2020. It is mostly gone now but still needs some work. Then last Friday, I purchased a set of gymnastic rings from Fitness Depot for $50 which I can attach to my pull-up bar. Hopefully going to give them a try today.
Just getting too old and lifting weights is causing some strains, so I thought mixing lifting with calisthenics might be beneficial. Not to mention I need to build up my core but I hate doing core only exercises.
For anyone who has the fitness reality 810 rack, there are some better attachments available on amazon.ca/com.
-amazon.ca Yes4all has 2x2 j-hooks in stock right now $70 - (If you have the ones it came with, you'll know they are shitty.)
-amazon.ca fitness reality dip bars in stock $130
-amazon.ca yes4all landmine attachment $60
-amazon.com olympic plate holders, purchased 3 sets for $160 CAD (If you plan on attaching "trx" style straps, or even just to weigh the rack down)
@firebane bells of steel has some bars in stock
Does anyone have a line on some bumper plates?

It's funny that having a 60mmx60mm rack would suck this bad for attachments.

Yeah I have a 6f 2" bar right now and not at the point to pay a huge premium on covid bars. I'll be buying some plates instead. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I picked up a load pin and will be making a pulley system this weekend to have that function.
Which plate holders did you buy?

Give Lee with LifestyleSports [email protected] an email. He got a bunch of stuff in the other week including bumper plates, I bought dumbbells from 35 to 60lbs from him. Great guy to work with, but can't say what he might have left. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
