4'x3', 3/4" rubber matts for sale on princess auto (weekly flyer till Nov 22) for $35 if anyone is interested. Seems like a decent deal but not sure of the quality.

Just starting my search but does anyone have a good suggestion for a home treadmill? Probably looking to buy used but not opposed to new. Cheaper the better, likely next to no running as I'm not the running type

Had an echo bike but sold it at the start of the pandemic as I wasn't using it as much as I should of been. Treadmill would get more use in the household.

Not looking for a trackhawk budget, more entry level.
Also looking for suggestions re treadmill. Same criteria, not Trackhawk budget, hopefully under $1500ish.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

I would check out Canadian Tire on Boxing Day, that's where we got ours 2 years ago. I think reg price was 1500 and we got it for 700 or 800 (of course their regular prices are inflated and most people never buy these unless they are on sale).

Bonus if you have a Triangle Credit Card with them to maximize your CT money earning, and you can even do free financing over 24 months.

The delays are definitely frustrating. I did a pre-order with Hyper Fitness at the end of June. At the time, they said the equipment would arrive in late August. The equipment didn't arrive until mid-October.

That said, I'm happy to have it now and the price was reasonable.

Seems par for the course haha. I was on the May pre order batch, was told it would arrive 2nd half of July but didn't actually have it in-hand until Sept 4.

Indeed the delays suck but agree really to happy to have it now. The value / savings make it worth the wait.

I'm gonna wait until boxing day sale as it's only ~3 weeks away. Would like to hear long term review of the thing.

I was tempted on some used market stuff but worried about warranty and issues down the road. Wanted to make sure I was covered in case shit happened under a year down the road.

Here's hoping to some decent Boxing Day sales!

CT has 30x points (I think it works out to 12%) if you pay with your Triangle card Dec 7-8. Combine that with free 2 year financing on purchases over $150 and it makes buying a treadmill from them a great deal. If you don't have a Triangle credit card yet, you can apply in store and they give you a code to use to pay with so that you can take advantage of the offer.

Any one have any experience with treadmill repair people? Either motor or control board is borked on mine but possibly wanted a second opinion before buying the replacement parts.

If anyone is looking for a Bowflex Max trainer Flaman Fitness has $450 off the M8. Should be ready for pick in 3 weeks. Can't wait to try this one out as I am really bored of using the spin bike.

Debating ditching my huge power rack, and moving to something like the Rogue SML-1, with safety arms. I don't really need a pull up bar (since the rack is a "short" 82"), but apparently the shipping on that is like $250, which kills the idea for me. At that point, I'd rather get a BoS 4.1/5.1 rack. I don't want a combo rack, I want something I can safely bail ~400lbs on, if needed.

Problem is I have a 85.5" ceiling in the basement, and the platform I want to put it on top of is 2.5", so I effectively only have 83" of rack space. I don't use the rack to store the plates or anything right now.

That's why I just say I have a 4" dick and lift weights to make up for it.

    YGPM!

I've moved my setup back to the basement from the garage. We'll see if it helps or hinders. I'm seriously struggling through home workouts right now, even with all the equipment I have.

    https://www.squatrackscanada.com/

I was very happy with the half rack I had from them. Didn't have spotter arms so I can't comment on those but the half rack itself was very good.

They're based out of Edmonton, good local option.
