Oooof that looks good. Though you need to get the vinnegrette instead of whatever that red sauce is.

I could dummy an order of chicken hearts right now.
I've never actually tried the vinaigrette, cause the red sauce is so good. I'll give it a go next time. But yeah, as good as everything is, chicken hearts is always my go-to.

Ordered a platter from Minas for lunch (and dinner, and tomorrow's lunch, and tomorrow's dinner) with a side of meat sweats.

They're offering 10% off pick up orders, which I gave back to them plus more in tip.

If there's one place I definitely get the impression they're going above and beyond for cleanliness, it's Minas. They're leaving out paper towels for you to open the door with, the bell to get their attention with is wrapped in plastic, there's spray bottles and towels everywhere, you gotta stand behind a roped fence to pick up, and they wouldn't even touch the money I gave them for tip; they requested I put it on the table haha
damn lucky you that they are just downstairs!
have you ever tried the coffee that they sell there?

Picked up a few growlers today, been trying to still support local breweries as best possible. Most are still open

I've heard it's ridiculously hard to get a pizza. Same as the bullshit from Shiki Menya.

No, I'm not a coffee drinker, but I've heard good things about it.

We got to finally try Shiki Menya last week and honestly, I hate to say it, but it's worth the hype -- we ordered again for this week. The noodles aren't anything incredible but the broth is legit. First time I've ever finished an entire bowl of ramen.

Agree, the broth is very good, came away impressed for sure. I didn't mind the noodles - is it fact or rumor that they make it in house?

Lol we just did too, The Original and Sweet Cheesus, for tomorrow. The wife's been trying unsuccessfully to online order the past several weeks, but busted through the glass ceiling today. We tried Carmine's Pizza last week as a consolation, but overall impression was okay.

We've been ordering lots from local restaurants and starting to enjoy this curb side pick up and eat at home with a bottle of wine type of dinner. We will likely keep doing this even after restaurants reopen.

Pretty much every Friday we order a cheese platter from Pleasant Cheese. This afternoon we are picking up Shikimenya ramen kit this afternoon (can't believe it was sold out in minutes!) and tomorrow's dinner is from Bar Von Der Fels.

This week's menu looks really good. Actually it was last week's, but it was so popular and sold out so quickly that they decided to do another week. I have high expectations for this one.

A few others we've tried that I think are worth noting:

Wakado Ramen - fantastic ramen but portion seem alot bigger than when I had it at the restaurant. I was in a food coma for a good few hours

Donna Mac - Great sandwiches but the Salad was mah. Will get again.

Hayden Block - Brisket was good, but they didn't give alot of BBQ sauce with the order so the pulled pork was okay

KE Sushi - they have this super cheap platter for $32 but definitly quantity over quality. Can't recommend.

Koji Tonkatsu - Great pork cutlet and amazing value for the Mixed combo. Highly recommended

Bridget Bar - Food was good but portion was small. Was still hungry after.

Pleasant Cheese - their cheese platters are so good and comes with all the sides like jam, crackers, olives, etc. We've been ordering one every Friday.

Haha touche. I went in there once looking for Pierre Robert, a cheese we adored in France awhile back. While in there this old woman was gushing over this cognac terrine so much I thought she was going to keel over then and there. Well needless to say I had to try some and it was un-fucking-real. Must have.

In the Crossroads Farmer's Market there is also an excellent fromagerie called Say Cheese Inc. Excellent staff and selection.
