What was the name that induced so much hate?
I won't be blamed if you want to gouged out your eyes after reading this:

Our drink features Kin+Pod's award-winning, ethically sourced, and locally handcrafted bean-to-bar 70% Tumaco Colombia dark chocolate, melted into steamed organic milk by Vital Green Farms in southern Alberta, to create the desirable fluffy texture and integrate perfectly to make a rich, creamy and flavourful hot chocolate. Had a good laugh this morning when I noticed the sign at New Horizon with a big heart saying "support local".

Lile, I know probably 75% of our consumer goods are from overseas, but that place is 100% Chinese resellers.

Hey @tirebob , which of the two veterans food banks was the one you preferred? I'm making a donation this week since I can't spend money on child care.

They are not affected from all of this because there was no customers before this all started.

Fair enough. Despite I really enjoy their beans and I've been using only their beans for the past 2 years, their description was definitely over the board.

They seem right on par with all the bougie coffee roasters in town.

These are also the people with the dumbest hot chocolate description for the hot cocoa festival. Fuck those guys.
Except they're selling 1/2lb bags compared to standard 3/4lb bags. Who buys 1/2lb bags of coffee beans? that would be gone in 2 days at my house.

I am in the middle of a lineup at Costco. Gouging my eyes out will cause mass panic. I better not.

You wouldn't belive how much money I'm saving in childcare, parking, lunches and vacations. It's unreal. If my pay doesn't get cut any further I'm buying a new truck. Or maybe, just another truck. Or nah, maybe just pay off some debts. Well whatev.

Can help out the local sharpening place too:

Cal-Don has a "hands free drop table" in the parking lot. I like that.
Dropped some knives off at Cal-Don this morning. They must not be very busy, because she told me she was pretty sure they'd be done just after lunch. Cost of sharpening is probably less than the knives in some cases, but hey, whatev.

Wow, cal-don must be dead. They had the knives done in one hour. That's really abnormal and sad.

So a friend recommended https://drizly.com/ for alcohol delivery but the selection is poor. Are there any alternatives in calgary?

Pay your buddy 5 bucks to boot you beer from a normal liquor store?

I'll deliver booze to beyonders for the price of 15 budweiser. Less if you live near me.
