She got a little feisty with that answer!
The problem I see if we get out of this with lower impact than anticipated, these deniers will just call all these policies are BS.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Still prefer either over the angry lunch lady they got in Ontario.

I’m a little confused here. Why does everyone think she’s done such a wonderful job?
What has she done above and beyond any other provinces’ chief medical officer?
Want to understand here. Yeah she’s alright..
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

How much longer till Ruror Juror is posted up in her bushes?
Delivery and tone. All chief medical officers from all provinces are saying the same thing. But she has a calming tone that hit the right balance. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
And the few times that the AHS dude sound a bit rough, she tries to reiterate with more soothing words.
She's very clear at communicating, even when reports mis-understand things and ask questions she re-iterates things quiet well so that it doesn't cause confusion. Also she doesn't get emotional or heated in any of the answer period. Also at no point has she pointed the finger or tried to blame everyone, she just calmly re-iterates that we're all in this together and people need to social distance. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. She also explains well why some of the things are being done without just giving a BS answer like some of the other politicians do to deflect and not answer.
If COVID19 doesn't take her out, can I?

Most importantly, she knows her shit. Here she is explaining the changes in testing protocol. That "umm-hmmm" is so soothing.

Contrast with Dr Joffe who, although is very intelligent, makes me want to invest in a bunker.

That's exactly it. When other jurisdictions changed their testing procedures they didn't explain it well and made it sound like they were running out of tests so they were just cutting out certain groups from testing. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Whereas she actually explained that as this point we know that 1% of the tests from returning travellers from almost anywhere are infected; so it doesn't provide them any additional data. Especially since most *should* stay at home in self isolation whether they get tested or not and will get through it with minimal symptoms anyways.
Whereas shifting to testing frontline workers and care homes and such better gives us data about our community now so they can adjust measures accordingly.
Like, that actually makes sense. But when the other provinces just say 'yeah were not testing this group anymore' it was a huge WTF moment.
I see.
You guys just like her delivery. Her follow up explanations are good too.
She handles herself well, and offers additional context, and Not that she’s generally doing anything above and beyond her peers.
Roger that.
