Just went for my first rip of the year, main roads are fairly clean here but still some areas you have to watch yourself. Anyone else been out yet this year?

I haven't, but I'm seeing more riders each time I'm out. Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot this weekend.
Haven't been out yet, need to register the bike. Are registries even open?

I was out in Feb and have been out lots in March. I just uncorked the 701 with a cheap intake/exhaust combo. Lots of gravel right now but that's kind of supermoto territory anyway!

The X5 i bought earlier this year really is FULLY LOADED though not a single option missing including infrared night driving
Don't know if they are here, I usually run 2 years at a time so I can skip the spring rush. In this case the rush is no more lol. Also I am selling 2 bikes now so its easier to maintain one registration for me. Having 3 bikes plated and only using 1 is a waste so time to move on from a couple. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I think pleasure riding during this time is selfish. If, god forbid, early riding issues were to see you go down (gravel, cars not “expecting bikes yet”, cold pavement/tires) and you take up valuable hospital or medical care that could be going to this pandemic, it just doesn’t seem the best for everyone right now.

Really missing my bike right now. Sold it in December and haven't replaced it yet. Now with everything closed, I think it will be a while before I get one.
Went out yesterday and saw about 15 other bikes out, too. It was super nice (14*C my bike read) out. Gravel as expected a little sketchy in some corners but as long as you were careful it was totally fine. Felt great to ride for the first time this year.

I started my bike in the garage when I was cleaning it, got excited, but i still have 2 feet thick ice in front of my house.
Went out today. Fuck it was awesome.
Looking around
Wondering what became
Of what I once knew
Oh man yesterday out 15*C was soooo nice. Just went for a short rip out, saw a ton of other riders, it was so refreshing from being couped up indoors everyday.
I need to do an oil change though! I wonder if ProAm or Blackfoot are open and would let me do some sort of quick pick-up and go with the Oil.. I don't wanna be out interacting much trying to limit to keep social distance.

I heard that both are open, but by appointment or pick up. Something like that anyway. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Haha I missed that snowcat comment somehow. Either he's 100% trolling, or has no self awareness whatsoever. Awesome.
Fuuuuuck that! After two rock in the knee episodes I wait for the roads to be cleaned.... That shit hurts!
It's perfectly fine to be a moron in non pandemic times. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Spent the morning yesterday for my Birthday "out of office" and wrenching in the Garage on the bike. Coffee in hand and music, sun shining, it was a great morning. Then spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying riding around it around!
Out with the old exhaust...
