Default What Good Online Courses Have You Taken?

With being on lock down and essentially out of work for the near future I was considering looking at some online courses if I could manage to find time between the newborn and toddler. What courses have you taken online that either you really enjoyed, thought were worthwhile for your career, or taught you a new skill?

I'm a Completions engineer in oil and gas so I'd be willing to look at something to understand production better. However I think I'd rather consider some sort of financial or commerce courses. I'm not sure of an exact subject in finance or commerce but I'd like it to be something applicable to my day to day life preferably.

However, I want to hear what courses beyond recommends or what you've done before and if you've enjoyed it or not.

Khan academy has adult learning Finance and Economics courses. I don't know how great they are, but here's a few that popped up on mine:

Also Coursera has a lot of Finance and Economic courses. I see Stanford has a "game theory" module through coursera that would probably be pretty valuable to help you understand the choices people make.

I would personally recommend EVERYONE study up on behavioral economics. There's no more widely applicable field of research. https://www.coursera.org/search?quer...l%20economics&

Yeah +1. Anyone who has the patience to get a data science certification should do that. Fits well with EVERY white-collar career, and actually a lot of blue-collar ones as well.

MIT actually has a ton of really good courses online/free - if you're ok with knowledge without certificate/diploma.

Lots of suggestions of where to look for courses, thanks fellas. Does anyone have any personal experience with taking an online course? If so what did you take, who did you do it through, and what did you think of it?
