Absolutely, the science is rather clear on the effectiveness of masks.

I'm wearing one and clear eye protection as well if I go into an enclosed area like grocery shopping or bank where there are many other people around. If you have masks, why wouldn't you wear one? You can have the COVID-19 and be asymptomatic.

If you don't have any then use any type of covering can help stop droplets at least. If you don't have many masks to throw away after single use(I use mine at least a few times), try spraying it down after with hydrogen peroxide after use so you can reuse it.

Not as good as using H2O2 vapor but I'm sure if you soak the mask it should help kill the virus. https://www.newsobserver.com/news/co...241520921.html

After I wear and sealed properly, I don't touch it or my face until I get home. So yes, I'm wearing it even in my car haha, prevents any contamination on the face.

Been thinking, I've yet to see anyone wearing ski goggles though, I think it's a good option as it seals good but may get hot.

Best is to just stay home unless you absolutely have to go out for food, medicine, see a doctor, etc.

Good excuse to whip out the old Enclave power armor with whats going on, or a hazmat suit.

No mask, but you should definately wear gloves or hand sanitizer right after using the gas pump.
Or you know, wash your hands before you touch food or your face.

Another option if you're going out sporadically and have only several masks, is to hang it for a week after wearing before re-use, that will de-activate the virus.

Swim goggles are another good option if you want sealed eye protection. Not as bulky and shouldn't get as hot.

If I didn't have my own mask, I'd be looking at making one like this using a furnace filter (pleated)

Stupendously clear air day expected today, and warm enough to blast the indoors with a hurricane and wash out the nasty air of winter.

I just use the other gas nozzle to spray the one Im going to use, plus a little splash for my hands for touching the first nozzle. Finally I also give the keypad a quick splash as an act of paying it forward, so it's covid free for the next person.

I know it's not a mandate when you go out but isn't that what most of Asian countries(Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore) are doing right now? It seems that even without lock down, those countries are managing the outbreak a lot better that some of western countries.
They all wear mask and high percentage wear glasses. Chances of infection is lower.

This is a good watch, you will learn more in 36min than all the news from last 3 months

Masks works. The only reason WHO and most health figures don't recommend them daily is a supply chain issue, not because they don't work.

My wife did wear gloves and mask. If I go I will keep distance, wash hands and clothes when I am home. And wash and wipe items accordingly.

What is this about washing your clothes when got get home too? Wtf man... is this thread about going out to a grocery store and keeping distance or are you going in for a shift at a hospital? Are you worried about someone maybe coughing on you without you knowing?

I'm not wearing a mask right now, I bought 4 but haven't used them, I'm saving them for if this virus mutates into something worse... right now, it's not concerning enough to wear one... I'm trusting the experts in our province on this one and just staying away from other people and washing hands and not touching faces.

Getting gas today, will definitely use hand sanitizer after... also, have started bringing q tips with me to use in pin pads.

Best mask I've seen to date is a gentleman at Superstore yesterday. Hockey helmet with saran wrap as a face guard.
