What's the point of wearing it at all if your primary concern is "what is trendy?" vs "what benefits you and others?" I think if more people who had them wore them, that would probably help them become more trendy.

Is there any good reason to not wear a mask right now if you have one, other then being worried about what other people think?
lol...you silly willy. I have been wearing masks and floaties for the past few weeks. In case there's another flood.

Honestly, broken down to it's most basic form, it is ME first pretty much everywhere. We all like to think we think big picture, but our basic animalistic instict will always be "me first" for the most part.
That doesn't apply to everyone. That's why I would catch a grenade for ya (yeah yeah), throw my head on a blade for ya (yeah yeah)...

In a more dangerous and immediately life threatening way, then yes for sure. If this were an indiscriminate and more viral virus like in "Contagion", I definitely couldn't blame him.

    For this though? Fucking ridiculous.

Imma start wearing my motorcycle helmet into Superstore, see if that'll get some looks. Or maybe ski googles & facemask? Perhaps I'll rob a train while I'm at it.

Western culture see wearing mask as negative sign of sickness. It will take a long time for everyone to think that's a generous courtesy and nice gesture to not get others infected/sick like Japan.

Yeah, because people are totally rational. I mean, it's not like they went out and hoarded toilet paper for no reason, right? And it's not like the US is starting to buy our mask orders out from under us either.

France and Germany complaining that US are pirating masks that they had already purchased.
Germany doesn't have a leg to stand on since they implemented export ban 3 weeks ago.

Trump got what he wants, Coronavirus is doing a way better job than his tariffs ever will.

So after this and everyone is butt hurt, time for WW3 to boost economy?

What trump actually wanted is the rest of the world to buy his country’s shit rather than his country buying everyone else’s shit.

This is not want trump wanted.

Overall. Good wake up call for the world to consider maintaining some strategic levels of in country industrial capacity in key areas though. Because when the bucks stops none of the worlds “trade partners” are going to look out for anyone but numero uno.

Don't worry, I don't believe in myself either. But ExtraSlow does and I don't want to judge him for it.
