I don't think KD was ever better. It's hard to expect much for $1/box. Still, a staple I'm my childhood and for my kids as well. Most versions of the white cheddar macaroni, including PC brand, seem like nicer noodles to my adult tastes, but whatever.

I realized I was never a huge fan of mac and cheese.

To be honest, most places make it really bland and I feel like if I'm eating a shit load of fat and calories, it should at least taste half decent. I only had a few mac and cheeses in my life where it was actually tasty.

At least with KD, you know what to expect. And it isn't overly oily like places that uses cheeses that make a pool of oil that's nasty. I rather eat macaroni salad.

Not really anything to do with isolation, but had KD and corned beef for lunch today. A taste of my childhood.

Fry that bish up with garlic and some diced potatoes and you got a childhood staple for me!

The benefit of masks is not known at this time. But we do know it is some non-trivial amount more than zero.

We also know that the cost of mask use is, essentially, zero.

So the cost:benefit of mask use is approaching infinity. I'll take that every time. And every time I see someone without a mask, I think they are stupid.

I believe the KD recipe changed since I was a kid. Much like Fruit Loops where they use fewer chemicals and more hippie bullshit.
The end result is The Spackler visiting your bathroom minutes after eating. No want.

KD did change their recipe, to be more natural (more tumeric, less delicious plastic cheese flavor).

Annies mac and cheese is much better, and only slightly more expensive.
