My thoughts on popcorn are the same as lobster. It's just a butter and salt delivery system.

Microwave popcorn is popped in oil. Just uses a different heat source. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ah yeah, I hate "ready-to-pop microwave popcorn", but I do like "plain popcorn kernels popped in the microwave". I also use the air popper sometimes. And one or twice a year I use the whirly-pop stovetop method when I'm borrowing a vacation property. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I’m just saying coating food in oil and heating with another source does not a deep fry make. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

What hours is the midday period between? 11-1? 12-2?
I learned this week that some people strongly feel there is no part of midday that is before noon.

I never use midday. It's always early or late morning, afternoon, evening. Or just night.

When does evening start? 5 or 6?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Bonus answer: after supper?
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."
-H.P. Lovecraft
For me, evening is after about 430.

Never us midday lol but for me that's noon and I only say noon. Evening wise, early evening to me is like 5-6, then evening for me is 6 and on. I also think dinner is 430pm to 700pm and anything after 7pm is supper hahaha.

Supper? .
Are you guys from Saskatchewan?
Supper is eating at home.
Dinner is eating out at a restaurant.
Why not both?
