Why would you have curtains in your shower?
Because blinds don't work as well.

Got a new one. Get into a debate about the risks and benefits of anti-perspirant vs deodorant. No lie, that one gets contentious.

I haven't been able to find an antiperspirant that doesn't give me a rash in the underarms...but I'm quite lucky that I don't sweat profusely for no reason so deodorant is fine

If deodorant kills you a couple years sooner I still recommend it

I prefer antiperspirant, because I hate feeling wet pits, but I've swapped to deodorant, because I hated the stains on the armpits of my clothes.

I sweat like a coke-head at a metal concert, but I still choose deodorant and enjoy mocking myself to others about how I can be visibly sweaty and cold at the same time.

I made the same switch years ago. From what I've read, antiperspirant is really not good for you at all, and it simply ruins clothes.

Although obviously there's more moisture, I don't actually believe there is any odor as a result - it gets deodorized either way.

I’d much rather use deodorant than antiperspirant. My problem is every deodorant I’ve tried makes me rashy. Unfortunately I have to stick with the product that ruins my shirts, since I don’t like rashes.

I found I actually sweated MORE with antiperspirant than I do with deodorant. So sweaty pits + ruining shirts was enough to switch to deodorant for me. I made the switch about 7 years ago and its worked out way better. However if Old Spice ever gets rid of the Fiji scent I am fucked.

Back when people gave a fuck what I wore to work, I swore by sweat proof undershirts.

They were great, sweat to you hearts content it never showed.

Anti perspirant crew. Arm&hammer classic...no scent. Ruins all shirts. Oh well. I always wear an undershirt anyways when wearing a nice dress shirt etc.

That said I've been actively looking at alternatives (which I think are deodorants) with the goal of getting away from aluminum/other chemicals entirely. I believe Tom's makes a good one that is charcoal based and Schmidts makes a natural one as well. Will order soon when my current supply runs low.

schmidts is pretty good. most of the aluminum free ones are shit, and you end up stinking you just don't know it because you go nose blind.

but aluminum for sure is really bad. I sweat more than bill gates and a kindergarten convention so I used to use drysol, which i realize now is probably like 100% aluminum but man did it do the trick. Like, apply on Sunday night and you don't need anything for the entire week. I probably caught Alzheimer's from that though. But I can't remember.

Speed stick deodorant. Pretty much everything else makes me break out in a rash
