Based on the extensive precaution at my local Safeway, and the lack of precautions at my local superstore, I'd say Safeway is a much safer way currently.

My guess for that area, another Co-Op going in at MacLeod by Centaur and they have a Co-op a few blocks behind on Elbow as well, likely closing one or two of those old stores/prime real estate and drive people towards that new (Henninger old spot) store.

Yes, but with a store right across the street serving the exact same brands, and MacLeod coop not being a high performer to begin with, it might have been part of the agreement with Save-On, to start selling their brands.

Co-op #3 will never close. It’s one of their best performing stores and Calgary Co-op’s head office is there.

I know the head office is above the seperate building, but it's always pretty quiet at that store. I assumed it wasn't performing that well. Gas station is always busy though.
