I don't find these great everyday, but today's text4hope was particularly relevant to us web folks:

Spend more time interacting online or over the phone with people who help you feel safe and calm and less time with those who don't.

This thread has died down a bit, which I hope means more people are feel well most days. That's great. I know the ai shine really helps me.

If you aren't doing well, and you think you should be, don't add that pressure to your list of problems. Try to string together one good day in a row, and then, see if you can do two. I know I always felt worse when sitting still. If you can't get in a workout, go for a walk. Of you can't clean he garage, clean one shelf.

And best advice I ever had for helping yourself was to try to help someone else. Go leave positive comments on someone's LinkedIn posts, or mow your neighbors lawn.

    Good luck out there friends.

This is really good. I listened to a podcast yesterday that spoke on having specific goals, but your daily focus needs to be on winning each individual day. If you win 4 days out of 3 in a week, you have won the week. Win 3 weeks, you have won the month, and so on. By the time you have hit the 1 year period, you will be able to look back and see a string of victories which should culminate in the accomplishment of at least some of your goals which in turn should continue to grow your confidence in yourself and whichever endeavor you decide to take on.

Any middle aged male suffering depression should be getting their testosterone checked. It's a big factor.

Definitely felt the strain over the last few months and I don't think it has gone away, even if some days are better than others. It also seems that having things that would have improved my well being not pan out have taken an even bigger toll than I would have thought. Something about getting your hopes up and then having them fall seems worse these days, almost like a light at the end of a tunnel was pushed further away. It doesn't help that the last couple of months makes you realize and confront what you don't have, when it seems like you have it pretty good during "normal" times. I think as someone who is single, a lot of social interaction was from work and having no one in the house with you day in and day out just highlights that. Spending time with friends has picked up a bit lately, but it's not an instant cure it seems and parents are both older, so I have been avoiding being near them too much. I guess as stuff starts opening up and things can change, it will probably get better, but it seems like there isn't much to look forward to right now

It can be tough for sure man... I know I have been having to take the attitude that all I can do is get every day and make the best decisions I can for that day and do it all again tomorrow. I too have some up days and down days still but the up seems to be coming more often than the down right now so I will take it. Just keep at it man. It will turn around!

Had a physically distanced chat with a beyond member yesterday about this. Regardless of if your work is busier, less busy, or whatever due to the virus, the disruption to previous routines is very stressful. I try to acknowledge that stress both to myself, and to others, as a way of giving permission for the feelings we are all having.

Vitamin D supplements from not being outdoors much can help. Orgies were approved today so people should be generally happier.
