    That looks like the hard way to built that, but I guess there's a reason maybe? If it was me, I'd build a 4 wheel trailer and just run the power from a regular tow vehicle.

    Although pilots are a little "odd" to start with, maybe they just like the aesthetic?

    yeah it looks like new ones are just long trailers on the front of a pickup.
