Don’t drink, it will eventually kill you.
Humans are terrible at estimating thier own consumption.
How many per day is meaningless unless the person has been tracking.
My average is pretty reasonable, but I have a smaller number of days that bring the average waaaay up.

I don't know, but I suspect it would be both entertaining and unflattering.
I do not want to see those timestamps.

Just had a tasting of the Octomore 14.1, 2 and 3.
I simply do not understand how people enjoy this, and are willing to pay so much. Lemon zest, burnt hay, soggy wood and old wet socks are all that comes to mind.
The Black Arts 11.1 was interesting as a drink, a lot of different flavours jump out, but felt completely disjointed. And for $700+? Yikes.
To each their own.

I've had one extremely good one and another that was just ok. But their naming/numbering just seems like gibberish so you can't remember which one is good...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I enjoyed their lower range offerings more actually: The Classic Laddie and Port Charlotte PMC:01 were not overly complex but really enjoyable nonetheless.

Agreed. Some Octomore is good. But all Octomore is poor value/$, IMO.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I've started using the App "Try Dry". Pretty good for tracking my sleep, mood, and energy as well. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Had a wicked week of binge drinking in Italy for the F1 Imola GP though... Obligatory Negroni in Modena photo.
If it's great then value kinda doesn't matter in the scotch world from what I've seen, rarely is anything high value these days. But these Octomore were just bad, regardless of price lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I've been trying to enjoy non-alc if I feel like I want a drink; Martini has a great 0.5% Aperitivo that mixes well with club soda, tonic water, or other things.
I very seldom drink for medical reasons, but 6-9 drinks week sounds like a lot, even if you 'eat great' and 'workout (on the golf course?)' But hey, these are the choices we make in life, you do you.
