Tried an ~40 year old rum from Arehucas distillery. They didn't state the exact age but it was barreled in 1983 so if it was bottled in the last year it should be about 40 years old.
I'm not a big rum guy but this stuff was fucking delicious and easily competes with quality bourbons for the depth of vanilla and banana flavours. AAAAA+ will try again.
