I'm on day 3 waiting for orders to be filled from Lowes and Home Depot on 130th. The Lowe's order is fairly big but Home Depot was like 4 things. I was reading on reddit that in some places they are 1-2 weeks out. My buddy just waited 8 days for a Canadian tire order.

It would be good if they provided an estimated time frame for fulfilling orders So you could make a better decision as to wait for curb side or go into the store.

They have no system to handle that. These retailers really aren't built for online ordering, even those who had online ordering for a while. It's very manual.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

I was going to pick up a wheel ceramic coating kit from CT but didn't want to wait in line nor do the online purchase, so I just went to Carzilla and picked up something else instead. They were a small enough shop that it was processed within the hour.

These days, I'm constantly trying to use money to buy my time back. Even better if the pricing is the same, but I don't mind spending slightly more to alleviate my impatience.

Yeah I don't care if I have to spend a few bucks more, I'll gladly do shopping somewhere that it is done quickly.

Went to signal hill CT today to try and get lawnmower oil... there was ~20 person line out front. Based on the rate it was moving it looked like under a 15min wait, but still didn't have the time to stick around. Still no way I'd order online from any of these places though.

Picked up a dethatcher blade for the mower and firstly could not find it anywhere. Took 10 minutes looking around to even find staff to locate (I guess this is the same Pre-COVID anyway), find it and the line up to check out was probably 50 people deep. They had only had 2 people working the tills. Definately the worst place with their social distancing practices. Should of drove to Lowes across the street and paid $1 more to get out quicker.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

You know that for most lawnmowers, pretty much any oil from a gas station/corner store, will do.

My friend waited 3-4 days for his CT order or two items. I think he said it was Westhills location.

Yea I know, I just don't have any of the right weight in my garage. Figured if I have to buy it anyways, might as well get that stuff vs other stuff.

Waited about 2-3 days for 3 items at Shawnessy Location, didn't mind to be honest, as aforementioned if you are looking to purchase an item and receive it immediately its probably best to go straight to the store.
