G35/37 with a good exhaust system is just so damn nice. Sounds like an old school F1 car from the 70s.

I agree! But one time that super mean guy Buster said their V6's sounds terrible. I found that odd.

I always put premium no matter how old the car is if it requires it.
An older NA vehicle at our altitude definitely doesn't need premium.

But there's almost no value in that extra few hundred dollars per year when another vehicle can do all the same stuff without that cost.
@16,000km/year, a person with a 10L/100km vehicle is setting fire to about $320.
I feel many would be better off spending that on lottery tickets, but I'm definitely wrong.
Oh absolutely. The way I look at it, usually the vehicles that require premium are nicer. So sure, the car is doing the same thing, but you have comfier seats, better stereo, more power, etc etc. Easily worth the entry cost of premium imo.

If you’re talking about putting premium in a shitbox turbo Subaru though, you are 100% right. Crv or rav4 can do everything the same except a bit slower.

Yes, and like you said "if it's nicer". If we were comparing an RX350 to an MDX, I'd argue that the expensive fuel the MDX wants drags it down a notch while both vehicles are fairly equal competitors.
    Etc.

Mentioning Subaru - you also would need to factor in the cost of compulsory vape products.
