Injanation announced this morning they are closing the doors permanently. It's too bad, my kids really liked going there. I will give them credit, they are refunding deposits for bookings that were set to occur after their closing date of August 30th. A lot of businesses just lock the doors and keep whatever money they have in hand.

I saw that, my daughter liked that place as well... I heard flying squirrel wasn't giving any refunds for people who had parties booked when they were closedThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Those kids indoor playgrounds are money makers during normal times. They'll be back in droves post vaccine.
And not super complicated to get off the ground either. A large warehouse space, some not so fancy equipment, A LOT OF INSURANCE, a good amount of marketing and you're off to the races. Low skill staffing requirements helps too. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

So i went to eau claire today for the first time since March and i saw Jackie's Thai was closed.
Anyone know what's going on with them? really hoping they aren't closing up shop for good.
Ended up going to thi thi instead, was 10/10 as usual.
Everything is Eau Claire is on borrowed time anyway, not surprising Jackie and Thor would walk away when shtf
Also noticed today that the Koryo in the core food court is gone. Loved that place for a solid lunch and garlic potatoes...

I belive Cineplex owns thier part of rhe building, so no rent cost, and nobody to sell it to.

Hoping some logistics companies go under or maybe some local manufacturers. I wanna buy a Mercedes Sprinter van for cheap.
that is my go-to meal from Koryo except chicken+beef. Same sides but i do keep the rice. Extra bbq and sriracha to go along with itThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
on a positive note, i sent an email to Jackie's Thai asking them whats up and they mentioned that they haven't moved, just simply haven't re-opened yet. I think they were looking at moving even before covid started so hopefully they can find a new place.
Agreed. I havent been inside Eau claire other than to use the washroom and that place is so depressing. I used to live at the cinescape there lol we would also watch the mice run around on the fruit and veggies when there was that market in the middle of eau claireThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
