You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

What happens if more and more retailers pull out of the malls? Will they just wait until it's profitable and then come back?

During the end of Mar and part of April when sales were hit hard, I thought about packing it up and then coming back when things would settle. Not a fan of Trudeau but his small biz loan and wage subsidy has been a life saver.

Taco Bell still standing strong. Demolition Man continues to ring true as we head towards 2032.

There is a lot of "What if" Questions.

They will mostly be based on speculative answers, for example I'm assuming malls won't be getting built in the future to hold stores as it's clear we are heading to online sales, companies now need to ask themselves how they compete with amazon, do they stop allowing amazon to sell their products? (If it's possible, i don't know)

What if the USD isn't the global currency anymore?
What if to many companies go under?
What if to many people get laid off and can't afford mortgages/payments?

    It's basically a snowball effect,

What happens in the US when after 3 months rent is all due in 1 lump sum payment and people can't pay it. (How could they pay for 3 months if they can't pay for 1 month?)

It's going to be another snowball effect.

We got tough time ahead so get ready no amount of stimulus packages can repair what will happen it can just postpone it now I'd say.

Jim Rogers is super interesting and I guess in mandarin chinese there is "challanges causes opportunities" they have a word for it I don't remember it, but there will be a lot of spots to make money.

I tried showing my fiance the movie for the first time and...fucking pizza hut. Ruined the entire days worth of build up on that one joke. We even muted it and replayed the scene and you can read their lips.

That's why I am keeping funds on the sidelines in case the markets meltdown again. I don't have the energy to go out and make $$$ anymore so i'll rely on American Exceptionalism long term to figure it out.

Much like Pier 1, they were in crisis before COVID.

From the females, they said their stuff degraded a lot over the years and no longer as great as they once were. So they had it coming.

I have seen enough dead mall show on youtube that there is only 2 ways to go:

    1. Turns into community service centers (Churches, nails, tax service, massage/chrio etc).
    2. Tear down and turn into Amazon fulfillment center.

haha wow, that's pretty sad. Good thing for the liberals though, means NDP will prop them up to avoid having an election called that they can't afford to campaign on

Too bad, there would have been something hilarious about a labor dispute between the NDP and their unionized staffers
