This has been a wicked thread. Thanks for the laughs.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

What was the depreciation per month for your CTS-V wagon? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I like neat cars.
Yep, but, it's a gorgeous unit. They shouldn't come with windows because they'll ALWAYS be down so you can listen to that sound when you twist its tail. I can't believe how much I enjoyed driving one of those in that Vegas track thing. I was fuckin drooling over yours! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

These sorts of cars are rarely ever a good financial decision. I've just learn to live with that reality now.
Yup. Although I've put my McLaren idea on hold. There is depreciation and then there is McLaren. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That’s actually great... my E90 M3 was about $1.15/km, or $730/month and it was already 8yrs old when I bought it
I think my C63 was around ~700/mo. I did pretty well with that think.
300 more a month for an AMG GT seems very reasonable to me

OR pay for Uber Black. Even comes with a driver and no hassle of parking
Don’t feel bad, pos Corvette has cost me quite a bit over $2/km in repairs and maintenance so far.
Except get gt sat in my garage for 4-5 months a year at the same depreciation rate. Calgary is a frustrating place to have a fun summer car... No good driving roads close... No track... Short season. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I drove the gt as much as possible and still only put on 12.5k in three years.
I might wait until I love somewhere warmer to bother with a summer car again.
Yup, same. That's part of the reason I sold my S2k. It was a fantastic car to drive, but being a third car that sat in the garage 95% of the time, and the remaining 5% was spent on roads that the car just isn't built for (i.e. straight)... just didn't make sense. Nice thing was that it didn't cost me anything to own. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
