You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Buster--- did he ever tell you the specific reason for backing out? If you're not at liberty to share, does it genuinely tug at your empathy strings? Do you know his intimate financial situation? That would cloud it for me -- ask him for his offer/concession.

If it's not dire, I'd be stating a deal is a deal.

Did he say he’s backing out because he wants to use the money to feed orphans, or did he say he just wants to buy a used lambo instead?

Lol, I think Buster is implying that he doesn't have empathy strings.

Well if he said he found a good deal on a Lambo, I would probably give him a pass.

Then you're making the mistake of thinking he cares what beyond thinks.

He studies us like a bunch of lab rats. He has no empathy for our emotions, but he will document them.

I still think my previous comment on a win-win situation for beyonders or someone else is worth considering if someone wants to step up. Potentially 10% off or more from purchase price for an already decent deal on a unique sports car.

Too bad I am not worthy of that specimen but I'd gladly do 85-90k on something that like if I had the garage space. Oh and of course the money if not already meant for our dream house deposit.
