I'm using the factory overclock through my ASUS bios and when it's running at 4 ghz (1.25v) my core temps are hovering around 80-85C. Most previous games didn't have my cpu utilization at 100% for the entire duration, maybe blips here and there so I wasn't concerned. But for warzone it is literally running at 100% for the entire game. Is it ok to sustain those temps for my CPU or should I turn the processor down to 3.8 ghz? I have the stock cooler currently, I am ok with switching it to a coolermaster 212, but I have heard that I can easily damage my processor while I take my old one off..
1. Stay the course, 85C is fine
2. Turn it down to reduce temps to 75-80
3. Install cooler and maintain / increase voltage
4. add a case fan or two?
