Yesterday I decided fuck it, I'm going to let my hair go at least until my temporary layoff is over at the end of June. This morning I woke up and realized I'd had enough of the bantam hockey tournament look and got myself booked in. Maybe I have the plague now, but at least I have a nice boy's haircut again.

I was due for a haircut right when the lockdown started so I ended up going 2 months without one. I finally had enough and decided to cut it myself. I was fully prepared to buzz it all off, but I wanted to see how it would turn out if I just took my time with the sides and back and it turned out okay! I've since done it once more.

You’re much more pale since the last time I saw you haha

Had the wife cut my hair on the weekend. Overall pretty decent except for this fail:

To be fair she could have easily straightened it out at the expense of raising the neckline on the left side, but I told her to leave it since I’m planning to go to my barber next Friday and figured it would be better to have more to work with when he corrects it.

Yup, that bald spot has hit almost every male in my extended family... kinda funny when you sit in the back rows of a wedding and you see almost every older dude with the same spot.

Solar panel is an excellent dad joke, i think i will start using that

This is the biggest my beard has been, ever. I also got bored and died my hear red. I'm in no rush to get back to the barber. My Mother in law did give me a trim a few weeks back, along the back/sides.

Calgary barbershops can reopen may 25th, as confirmed by JK today.
I will not be rushing back into one, but it's a positive step.

You look like you should be calling a couple of demon hunters, idjits, or maybe helping Mrs.Ellsworth with her gold claim.

The wife has cut my hair twice now during Covid! She’s getting the hang of it, scalp massage and all.
