This used to be my easy Calgary pathway route for windy / recovery days: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/32770558
The fun part is that if you're on a cyclocross or mountain bike there are many dirt trails parallel to this route to make it into a 30% dirt 70% pathway ride.
This is great. I've ridden this route but as 2 or 3 separate rides. It never occurred to me to piece them together. I'll have to give this a try.

Just did some reading online and it looks like the glenmore reservoir might be a good option as well. All paved from what I can tell with some nice inclines to keep the heart rate up
Just got back from riding the north end of the Glenmore Reservoir. Wow, that was boring. Playgrounds and picnic areas everywhere. Stick with the south end.

doesn't look like it has a paved loop but has lots of trails

although most of the blacks that I've seen are hard packed gravel

Berkley to Edgemont is part of the 20km+ bike ride that I like to do

How's that Berkley/Edgemont ride? Traffic bad? Path conditions? Trying to do more biking with the fam so don't want something too difficult.

@topmade sorry keep forgetting to reply to you. I go during mid-day and traffic is not too bad. afternoon/weekend can be busier as lots of couples/family ride here, especially from the Edgemont side.
