It's just a name and logo change.

    You're up next, Uncle Ben!
This is absurd. These people are so racist they can't even allow a black woman to have her face on a bottle of pancake syrup. Like how far does this go? I saw another one that some woman is pissed off because the cartoon monkey on a box of cereal is racist. I'm thinking if you automatically relate monkeys to black people, that says a lot more about your racism than Kellogg's bitch.

Here I thought Aunt Jemima was named after the woman who came up with the delicious syrup recipe ala Colonel Sanders with KFC!

It's kind of old news now (damn news cycles these days), but the DA presentation around charging the officer who shot Rayshard Brooks is really eye-opening. Honestly i was originally leaning towards the officer being justified in this case, but after seeing this, it's clear why he was charged with 2nd degree murder and why there was a massive uproar. I think rage actually hit the nail on the head originally - 41 mins of calm and cordial interrogation did NOT need to escalate into this.

Whether you agree with it or not, the law says you don't fire at someone running away unless you think your life is in danger. Buddy had no weapon (confirmed with the pat down) and then fired an uncharged taser that missed so at that point it becomes hard to argue that you think your life is in danger.

The action starts at around 28 mins:

And there's not really a reason for 41 minutes of interrogation in the first place.

The two body cam videos make it pretty obvious why he got himself shot. Violently resist arrest, disarm an officer, flee and attempt to fire on the officers pursuing you gets you shot, white or black. The whole situation only escalated because of Brooks’ actions, up until the point they try to cuff him, the officers are calm and respectful, the Brooks decides that fighting two cops and trying to use their own weapon on them is a good idea. They even asked after his status when they were talking to their supervisor in the parking lot

I knew a guy in high school, we're all at a house party, he was drunk decided it was safer to pass out in his car and not in the house. Went to his car and woke a few hours later to the cops. They gave him a DUI. This was in Calgary and he was white if this makes a difference.
Why a dui? Because he had his car keys on him. They argued his intent was to drive and had access to execute on that intent.
    He didn't have Balfour Dur.
I've beaten a few of those care and control cases. Those are fun. Not as simple as some people seem to think as it is a very technical legal defence.

Here I am as an Asian thinking Aunt and Uncle were endearing term to call someone, ended up the context is racist as whites won't call black people Mr or Mrs.

TIL, calling someone aunt/uncle that are not really your aunt/uncle is racist.

There is nothing negative in the Chinese term. It's just a factual term for black people.

You are talking about people who could not care in any way whatsoever about “facts”
