Riot police arrested CNN's black reporter on live TV.... fucking crazy and of course they did. This of course before Chauvin was charged or taken into custody.

After CNN crew were arrested while live on TV. CNN crew were more than reasonable and within their rights.

They keep on digging their holes deeper and deeper...
Wtf? Arrested for what reasons? Trump and Fox News are most likely like giddy little girls over this incident. Talk about a fucked up country.

Ahhh..yes. The Nuremberg defense. "Befehl ist Befehl"
Their white reporter a little ways away was left alone doing the same thing (wasn't live at the time though). Just crazy. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Was it? I thought it was another CNN guy.
I mean basically its because they were white. The USA is fucked.
They were allegedly told to move multiple times prior but didnt. Not really surprising. They got released right after, with an apology. And how is this a race thing if the rest of the crew, who appears to be white, were also arrested? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
They totally baited the cops for a headline there.
Media are doing a great job of fanning the flames of racial divide

I was just joking, I didn't even notice them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
This doesn’t help that people are bored, unemployed and likely frustrated with being in self-isolation for the past few months. Looting, rioting and blocking freeways is a right under democracy. More will die over these riots if the national guard gets called in, over absolutely nothing.
Asphyxiation not the cause of George Floyd's death: Autopsy
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...mbined-health/
Things are about to get real interesting.
George Floyd died Monday from a combination of preexisting health conditions exacerbated by being held down by Minneapolis officers, not from strangulation or asphyxiation, based on the medical examiner’s initial report.
Preliminary findings from a Tuesday autopsy conducted by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner found “no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxiation or strangulation,” according to the criminal complaint filed Friday against former officer Derek Michael Chauvin.
“Mr. Floyd had underlying health conditions including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease,” said the complaint from the Hennepin County Attorney. “The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death.”...
If you are going to choke someone with your knee, probably a good idea to assume they have pre-existing conditions. Murder should stand.
You know how in baseball the players can't agree to a revenue split with the owners because they don't true the owners to report revenue properly? Those players have good reasons for that distrust. Well black Americans hace decades of learned experience that police forces and politicians are working against them. At this point, I cannot blame them for thier lack of trust in the police, governments, and even the coroner's reports.
The deck is stacked, it's hard to debate that.

wont the cop say he was afraid for his life? Isnt that what's used to justify things when someone gets into a pickle like this?
Don't forget the reporter asked the officers calmly, multiple times, where they should go instead and they would go there. Then they all get taken away, but why the black guy first? Why not take them all at once if the crew being there was a problem? There is a follow up video with the reporter post-release and he said that he and the arresting officer were chatting casually. Apparently just 'following orders man'.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The whole thing just fucking stinks.

On principle, I don't agree with the rioting.
But as these things continue to happen, I start to swing to the other side that, at some point, peaceful protest hasn't brought about results. Kaepernick took a knee to protest that type of brutality and got raked over the coals for it. It's not a hot take to say that corporations and businesses have an enormous amount of sway when it comes to policy making, so maybe these organizations will demand change if riots that affect their bottom-line occur any time these incidents of over-police happen?
I'm not saying I'm going to participate. I'm simply just stating that I'm starting to see the other side of the argument.

Yeah but he's not racist. It's just a continuous series of innocent tweets that are taken in the wrong context, and totally circumstancial. You're just seeing that because you want to believe he's racist.Originally Posted by mazdavirgin;4876746He quoted a racist cop from the 1960's race riots at the protesters...
