I made the drive down to Lethbridge a couple years back and drove through all these little towns and what not on the way, only impression of Leth was, old ppl everywhere!

I probably don't care where I retire as long as I'm still able bodied and English must be the main language and maybe in 30 years more countries will have English as an official 2nd language. Can't fathom being a fob somewhere or unless I am dating a fluent local.

Idk if by then travel will be important to me anymore, tbh after being to 20some countries it has lost a bit of its appeal?! Feels like same same after a while. Might just be the typical snowbird and just go South for 6 months. I guess it all comes down to money as always. More money = more options and plus by then we will all have 3-4mill in the bank.

NZ is amazing. I have family down there, and spent 4 months back in university. my #1 country to live in if I ever leave Canada. Southern Ontario on the other hand, fuck hard no. I hate crowds and humidity and "laurentian elites".

St. Catherine's isn't exactly crowded, and a waterfront place for under $700k is attractive.

And I love the humidity (now that I'm not fat anymore).
