now it's pissing me off that I can't remember what my first user account would have been. probably around 02, because that timeline fits. Was driving a sick '93 Excel at the time, with a million stickers on it. Had fog lights below the front bumper that I repeatedly smashed off bottoming out while doing back-alley rally. Had a lot of pent-up stress from nearly failing engineering school.
That was before camera-phones, so I don't have pics, but that car was sweet as hell. In the summers I'd take out the rear quarter windows and blasting my subs. Night at the Roxbury on constant repeat.

I can't say for certain, but it was somewhere between '03 - '05, a buddy who lived near me showed me the Beyond marketplace when I was trying to sell some stuff and offered to let me use his account. It was such a horrible name too, Thetrousertrout. I used that for a long time, but I lost contact with him, and then one day the password just changed, so I made spikers.
It was really the perfect fit for me. I was a gear head, and it was first real introduction to a forum. Yes, I was a late bloomer.
