Default RCMP - world leaders. Take down their own helicopter with their own drone.

So first time in the world there's been a known drone strike on a manned aircraft. It's blue on Blue - RCMP helicopter by RCMP drone.

There's a few million $ in damage easy (having no clue what a heavy lift chopper from Edmonton to wetsuweten would cost - bet that's almost 7 figures alone )

Never before has it been so easy or so cheap to bring down ridonkulously expensive and complex machines with so little effort. It was bound to happen by accident, I can only imagine what will happen when it starts happening on purpose.

Take down a F-35 with a $200 drone that spews strands of Tungsten Carbide into the air with a cherry bomb firecracker? I would say Doable. Take down a fully loaded aircraft carrier with a 1950's refined nuke put on a 19 foot torpedo costing the same as a Fiat? Doable. Make a false allegation like a Rob Anders politician and destroy singular lives with a whim? Doable.

I can imagine that if you knew the wind patterns, and had basic spy satellite confirmation of an unhidable aircraft carrier in the ocean (glaringly obvious to track) you could, with about 1,000 drones absolutely prevent any aircraft of any expense from landing with 100% probability for about half a day. All you realistically would have to do, is have a drone submarine not be detected - and front run the carrier with said air drones, chaffing the absolutely miniscule landing box. If the drone is destroyed by explosion or shot to pieces, it will release its chaff which at the range of shooting one down - is exactly its purpose.

USA dominance is over. AI robot drones win, AKA "how to take down a US aircraft carrier on a $1 million budget".

    ZenOps calculation of price/destruction value.

Definitely not the first time a drone has struck an aircraft. Happens every few months at least, around the world.
