I remember walking away from a 1999 Si-R new because I couldn't stomach paying nearly $30k for what was basically a Civic Si with a B16A and now people are paying $50k USD for used ones? What is the world coming to?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That's over 50k though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Lets be clear... a museum quality 00' in the ideal electric blue colour, bone stock, with only 5600 miles sold to some rich fart for $50k.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
99.9% of EM1 Civics are selling on local kijiji pages for a couple thousand bucks.
I still have mine.. pushing 20yrs of ownership

All the car magazines seem to think the CT-R is the best driver's car under $50K. It's a hell of a lot more fun to drive than something like a Q50 Red Sport IMO. Not the fastest car out there and the looks are polarizing but it's just an absolute blast to drive. I don't think I've ever driven a car that put such a smile on my face, but to be fair that could have also been because I was on a track at the time.
If you're also looking used, then at $50K the options are almost endless and you can definitely get something more premium. I like the TTRS idea.

I want to want the CTR having been a Type-R fanboy growing up. I think the issue is that it's the car I wanted back then, but that was 20 years ago. It just screams LOOK AT ME with the current design, vs how clean the ITR and CTR were back in the day. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Good enough i want to take a look. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yup, the looks are definitely the most polarizing thing about it. Drive one if you haven't - you might find you have so much fun you won't care what it looks like. Also, I think the 2021 variant is getting some toned down bodywork. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I do wish they made a "sleeper" version though.
Why can't Honda put out the CTR with an acura badge and not looking like ass?
I'd think a premium sport compact type care like that would sell?
2021/22. Rumor CTR mill in an Acura Compact Sedan but badged as Type S.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
ATS-V just ended production so you'd buying used. I've driven @RT16V ATS-V and it's a riot, 6 speed manual, 4 door, that's his in the pic. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
In this review, it even beat the M3 which is a shocker but it bested both the AMG and M3 for 1/4 mile, figure 8, lateral G's, braking and 0-60:

A few for sale on kiji but they didn't make many overall:

I personally wish they would have stuck an LS in it instead of the TT V-6 but it's still an awesome car.
I like neat cars.
That seems like a lot of money for an ATS-V when they were selling brand new for ~$20K under MSRP as nobody wanted them. Did they just become more valuable because you can't buy them anymore?
It is worth taking a look and doing your due diligence. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There are some unicorns to be found.
That's how I picked up a near-new 2013 G37xs with 3800 kilometers.

I really like the ATS-V as it's a great performance bargain. GM chassis tuners are amongst the best in the world. I just wish the instrument cluster didn't look like it was lifted out of a 90's Chevy Malibu. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
