I have no idea about Vette's. What gen is C6Z?
I can advice you it's the 4th Gen.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That's way too old. Definitely doesn't fit the new or 3-4 year old criteria.
In regards to your original post, I'm surprised I never saw it mentioned. But if I was in the market for sub 50k sporty car no more than 3 years old, I would be looking at an Audi S4. Beautiful car, handles nice, excellent platform to mod if you want more jam down the road. It's not a coupe, but it doesn't have to be in the case of the S4, it still looks sporty. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Holy shit that’s a deal. Does BaT have a buyers fee on top of the final price? Or is the onus on the seller? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

You guys are both right, I think it is a good price... it's just not that good for Canadians. Exchange rate makes it ~90k. Another 5% buyer fee, plus 5% GST to get it across the border, plus transport costs, plus certification costs to get it legal for Canadian roads. I guess all I'm trying to say is it'd probably be pretty darn close to what you'd pay for one already in Canada.
Better to try and find one from out east maybe?

The Canadian market ebbs and flows with the US market & forex... Cars here are only worth (roughly) what they are in the US market once all relevant costs are factored. In times of rapid forex changes, there will be opportunities for arbitrage, but (as Buster would say) the market is generally pretty efficient at balancing out.

Wow ... already 8 page!
Just want to add, when people have $50K budget, I guess insurance cost and gas cost could be important too, I am impressed that after owning the CTR for 1.5 year, gas mileage is awesome! in the 7-8L/100 km range, can't think of any 300+ HP sports car can do that, and somehow, I just check my bill, CTR insurance is cheap, $8xx a year, just over half compare to German ...

Yeah. I was really impressed with my CTR. Honda really does know what they’re doing when they’re allowed. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I’m going to be on the look out for the next gen CTR, I think this one is that good.

For some reason that seems expensive for this current market. 3 year old car with 30k+ mileage with undesirable speedo and CUE entertainment system. $40k max. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
