Default Subaru Outback Windshield repalcement Q.

Wife just had her windshield replaced, went to take a look and saw a few things that concern me. The top rubber edge (gasket?) doesn't look installed right, its flush on the edges but puckered in the middle, is that something I can tuck away with a credit card or something without damaging? I'd rather not take it back in, if its just a few minutes fix.

Other issue is the windshield doesn't seem to have any top trim, the windshield seems firmly set in the frame, but theres almost a quartered inch of glass edge exposed from the corner to the edge of the frame. Screw in example is just over an inch long.

Can't find a good enough pic online to tell if that's normal, but if anyone's got a 2017 outback, or familiar with them, would appreciate a confirmation.

Not sure how much help this will be, but here's our 2007 legacy and our neighbour's 2009 outback for comparison:

The gasket is installed correctly. The issue is that the gasket isn't overly robust and doesn't have the memory as it should to seal tightly once re-installed. I feel that gasket should be a one time use thing as we have had ours replaced once and while it doesn't have the same gap as yours in the middle it doesn't fit as tightly as it did prior to windshield removal.

I've got 2 x 2012 outbacks. Both look the same as yours. Once has the original windshield, the other has been replaced. I used to think it was odd as well how the top of the windshield is exposed.

    Thanks for confirmation people.

Looks super weird to me, but if it's right, that's all that matters.
