OP, care to share links to any of the posts or comments you left that were downvoted into oblivion? Not that I doubt your unbiased views, but perhaps sharing them in here would enlighten the rest of us to the extent of the oppression you face in those subreddits.

I mean, they did post evidence backing up their claims. So there's that?
Their "evidence" was a single lame joke from a Discord screenshot.

Well, they definitely don't teach you this stuff in school, at least not in enough detail.
No different than where your food comes from, etc. Bet you even the teachers don't know how it actually works.
This should be taught in grade school if you really want to make a difference in the world.

I thought there was more? I don't follow the drama much. Everywhere I go pisses me off these days.

Like the screenshot posted before... I've seen shit like that posted on beyond. I see it in my FB feed every day. Maybe y'all just need a thicker skin? lol

That is hilarious. Most people on r/alberta believe r/canada is ran by far-right nazi's. There was a petition going around for the removal of far-right nazi mods recently.

The place is a total shitshow.

This is from r/alberta from back in Feb. I took a screenshot because I knew something would come up where I'd just love to post it.

There's all sorts of these types of posts on r/alberta.

There are the same amount of crazies on the 'other side' wanting to take out Notley and Trudeau.

Just like in the US there are loads that would like to take out Trump, just like the previous years where lots wanted Obama out.

Idiots exist everywhere and do not represent an entire side of a politician spectrum. The two need each other to keep the other in check.

Thing with Trump is: Classical consumption based economy. Eat until you can't eat anymore and then add a burger on it. Is it healthy? Hell no. One of the reasons the USA is having a problem with this disease is no doubt because people are already at the brink of clogged arteries before coming down with a mild cough that puts them over the edge.

You can't tell a man (especially a black man in the USA) that he should not have fried chicken at every meal, and yet - this is the reality. Is it better than starving? Sure. But its also better to just find a consumption level that is healthy and still enjoyable. Was man on the moon overconsumption at the time? If you ask me - hell yes it was.

Biden? US citizen cannot be trusted to be the guards of a fridge full of frozen pizzas and an unlimited pipeline of slushies. And in many ways, I think he is right. As for Canada, the USA owes over $20 trillion in debt to oil producing countries. Thing is: What do you actually get for those dollars? A handful of F-35's that crash in the ocean? Moon technology to also crash probes. And a legion of Hawaiian welfare recipients $50,000 and $107,000 low income San Franciscans.

Generally speaking, violent protests are a tool of the left, rather than the right. (Again with the acknowledgement that right/left is clumsy.)

Who gives a fucking squirt of piss!!????!

As per the thread, there is zero question in my opinion that the number of people who believe we could walk away from fossil fuels tomorrow and never look back is nothing short of epidemic. There is a chronic level of horrific ignorance about how all this shit from China ends up at all our stores so we can obsessively buy it and fuck up our lives and economies, even further.

Ok how bout speaking a little less generally then. A cursory check shows me that violent right-wing extremists are responsible for the vast majority of murders and terrorism in the US in recent years. Oklahoma city, abortion clinic bombings, black church and synagogue shootings, most other American shooting sprees, etc, all perpetrated by right wing extremists. Yes there was a time in the '70s when left-wing extremism was on the rise but looking before that, it's no contest once again, especially taking the world as a whole. Skinheads, neo-nazis, the KKK. However, I am open to facts if you wish to disprove this but keep in mind I am talking about actual deaths, not threats or injuries. Also, I know many right-wingers value property above human life, but sorry, that doesn't count.
It's useful to distinguish between terrorism and more garden variety protesting. I also don't consider skinheads,neo-nazis, etc to be right wing. They're quite interested in having a very authoritarian/totalitarian state most of the time. They're not exactly freedom loving, free market capitalists.

So, how do you get this but fail to see that the 0.001% human can't generate 700W long enough to make a single piece of toast?

That toaster video could've been rigged for any type of outcome depending on what was hidden within the generator area in the way of gearing and what not.

I suppose...? But I'm confident it's not. It clearly showed his production rate and it's timed for the length of time to make toast. An output 746W = 1hp. A human generating that for ~60s is astonishing, but feasible for an athlete.

You should try to generate 700w on a bike. I doubt the bike was actually powering the toaster. Just that he had to produce the 700w it consumed and once he couldnt they popped the toaster.

Yeah it is useful to ignore one group, and pretend another doesn’t play for your team.

White supremacist groups are all about freedom and capitalism. Ruby Ridge and Waco mobilized people like McVeigh and other groups because they opposed what they felt was government overreach and violation of freedoms. Constantly long for less regulation and meddling, sanctity of property rights, illegitimacy of taxes, etc. So if that’s the qualifiers you want to use to define right wing, they fit right in. Fighting against socialists, communists, progressives, the nanny state and all others who would try to cancel or censor or whatever else they go on about.
