I think because the desk is on quite soft carpet and monitor higher up there is some shake when I'm standing. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Is there a distributor of Uplift desks/frames in Canada? Their $350 USD shipping is brutal. I could cross ship using DYK Post or some other service, but it's an extra step.
Uline has some standing desks, no idea on quality tho

Prime cables desk showed up yesterday. Assembled today. Wife will set up the monitors and cable management shit tomorrow. Certainly all seems sturdy and well made.

Wife works in IT? My condolensces.
Well, I'm back WFO now, so I personally haven't used this desk more than a handful of times. But it has gone up and down smoothly, quickly and quietly when I adjusted it. Not noticing any wobble. Wife hasn't complained. Calling this a win. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Anyone look into a second hand sit/stand desk from allsold.ca?
This one grabbed my attention as I need space for my laptop dock and dual monitors:

for those who have the Ikea Bekant / Galant desk, this is now my all time design for a headphone hanger.

Just replaces the end cap. So smart.
I can offer to print these if you'd like. PM.

I've ran a few iterations of monitors on this desk including 2 Samsung curved monitors on articulating arms and now most recently a 50" Samsung 4k TV that I use as a monitor. With any sort of arm mounted to the desk and 2 monitors hanging off of it shake was pretty bad but with the monitors sitting on the desk (or in my current case the TV) I don't notice it at all. I primarily sit but its been nice to raise and lower depending on how much I'm slouching. I've never had any issues with any of the 3 memory settings and everything is still super smooth. I like that when you raise or lower it it kind of slows down right at the tail end so its not a sudden stop. My only complaint so far is that you can set an "alarm" to remind you to stand and somehow my kids keep button mashing and turn it on.
I'll see how it survives a move this month but I 100% plan to buy another one for the wife's new home office. The quality has been excellent for the price, I'd highly recommend it for anyone's home office/fap station.

I have this one from Ikea and it's great, not wobbly at all. I have a triple monitor stand with 2 monitors and a laptop, plus speakers and a bunch of other crap, it's sturdy. It also connects to Bluetooth so I can control it from my phone.
You can buy just the legs for $520 which is what I did and made my own top for it.

Jesus man, I know you like Transformers, but you need to get out more. No one should get this upset over a movie based on children's toys.
